Don Sigmon, Broker-In-Charge
Don hails from Statesville, North Carolina and moved to Hilton Head in the mid-1980's as a finance director for Charles Fraser, the original developer of Sea Pines. Don is a graduate of North Carolina State and is a "retired" CPA. In addition to his real estate career, Don and his wife, Rachel, have owned and operated the South Beach Racquet Club in the Sea Pines Plantation. With more that 20 years of handling real estate transactions on Hilton Head Island and the surrounding low-country, Don has extensive first-hand knowledge of the best real estate opportunities in the market.
Denean Beaupre, Realtor
Denean Beaupre finds the joy in Hilton Head that comes to all who spend time on the island. For 30 years that enjoyment came as a regular visitor and the last years as a full-time resident. While working as a legal secretary and running the recruiting department for an Atlanta law firm, she never lost her passion for real estate and now brings that organization and attention to detail to Sigmon & Associates. Her real estate experience is both personal, recently building her home on the island, and professional, selling numerous properties on the island. Those transactions include single family homes and condos as well as lots, and no one knows the market better - for Denean studies Hilton Head real estate daily to stay familiar and current. Real estate is not a job for Denean, it is a passion. With her husband, Glenn and two sons providing support, Denean is immersed in her career and would welcome the opportunity to serve you.
Melanie Marshall Peck, Realtor
Melanie first fell in love with Hilton Head and the Lowcountry when she moved to the island in 1987 and hired by Don Sigmon to work in Sea Pines founder Charles Fraser’s office. She later became a real estate paralegal and during her 14-year para-legal career, she handled countless real estate closings before leaving to take care of her young children. With those children now young adults, Melanie is excited to return to the real estate world, reuniting with Sigmon as a realtor at Sigmon & Associates.
With her experience as a real estate paralegal and her caring attitude, Melanie embodies the characteristics of a successful realtor. Add in her familiarity of living over 30 years on Hilton Head Island, she combines the knowledge to know and understand the local market. Melanie’s energy, easy going style and unmistakable knowledge of the real estate industry as well as her business history make her the ideal choice for helping with all your real estate needs.
When not showing properties, Melanie enjoys spending time with her two children, family and friends, learning to play pickleball, going to the beach and biking in Sea Pines Resort. A dedicated supporter of local charities, her heart is especially with Family Promise of Beaufort County, where she and her teenage daughter often volunteer as overnight hosts at the local shelters.
Lynne Dayton, Realtor
Lynne first became familiar with Hilton Head in 1978 when a convention brought her to the island. It began a love affair that continues to this day. No longer a visitor, Lynne and her husband are residents of Sea Pines, where she utilizes her nearly 40 years of real estate experience at Sigmon & Associates. A veteran of both general brokerage and onsite sales, Lynne started her career as a residential sales agent in 1981 with Coldwell-Banker and was named Agent of the Year for the Roswell, GA office in 1983. She later opened her own company in Georgia before moving to the Washington, DC area in 1988. She began her career in onsite sales in Northern Virginia as an agent for Pulte Homes before joining Equity Homes. In 1994 Lynne moved to Charlotte where she worked for BSI, a division of Allen Tate Real Estate, and Crescent Resources before re-entering general brokerage. While at Crescent she served as an agent at the prestigious Piper Glen and Ballantyne Communities, winning numerous awards, including Charlotte Onsite Agent of the Year in 2003. Lynne has been an active supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, co-founding and spearheading annual charity events to raise over $6 million. She and her husband, Charlie, have two grown children, two granddaughters and two spoiled dogs and enjoy walking and playing tennis.
